The National Center for Science Education, Inc., was begun by scientists and teachers to defend evolution education and oppose the teaching of religious views as science. In 2012, NCSE began supporting teachers who are pressured to avoid or compromise the teaching of another well-supported science, climate change. After more than 30 years of dedicated work on the teaching of controversial topics, NCSE has developed approaches that are highly successful in keeping good science in public school science education. It works primarily at the grassroots level, where problems occur and must be solved, and it also cooperates with national organizations to educate the wider society about this issue.

Up until now, only individuals have been able to join NCSE. But now organizations, associations, businesses and other nonprofits can do their part by becoming Supporting Organizations of NCSE. We especially encourage science-oriented and education-oriented groups to join NCSE as a way of supporting us, of supporting evolution and climate change education, and of defending the integrity of science. Annual contributions from Supporting Organizations will provide a much-needed stable income stream to support NCSE in its important activities.

In recognition of your annual membership, with your cooperation, we will provide recognition on NCSE's website and newsletter, including your organization's name and logo, and a link to your website. We will also offer priority consideration to your organization in requests for speakers or authors.

We will need to know the name and contact information of the organization officer with whom we should correspond.
